Valery AKHNAZAROV January 20th 2011 Corrugated Panel Bonding Procedure Tools/Consumables: Hysol 9396 Teflon Mold release (Supranite 12-8) Acetone Bonding tool 4mm h7 steel pins 6mm plastic tubing Procedure 1.Prepare bonding surfaces a)Grind with abrasive tape (grade 220) the bonding surface b) Spray silicone on the tool. c)Clean the bonding surface with Acetone b b

4. Valery AKHNAZAROV January 20th 2011 Corrugated Panel Bonding Procedure 2. Set the ISP on bonding tool (bottom up) 3. Insert pins. 4. Dispense epoxy on the SLA parts. 5. Load and apply pressure the SLA parts. 6. Remove the adhesive in excess. 7. Use the plastic tube 6mm and clips for better contact. 8. Let cure for 24h to reach the adhesive handling strength. 9. Inspect all the bonds and apply adhesive fillets where needed. 7 7 2 6

Quality Assurance 1.Inspect all bonds checking lack of adhesive. 2.Dry fit the PP0 boards. 3. Check the flatness of the SAL on a reference table.
