Effecting My Future My career goals are unlike many at the Haworth College of Business. The reason I am attending Western is to become an Entrepreneur to open a children’s center in Muskegon that allows children with low income families to have the same opportunities that everyone else has. Whether it be for tutoring, sports facilities or after school activities, my center will provide for those who need it. I chose these majors because it is a possibility that by combining all three of them (maybe not in their entirety) I can be successful in my future. Social Working to understand the children, and know what they need. Entrepreneurship to have the grounds and basis of starting my own organization, and how to fund it, and how to take the risks that I need to achieve it. And Management to know how to treat employees, and work as a team to achieve the dream.
