Lived in German town and then moved to a cottage on a 2 acre land Then later moved to a utopian Fruitland She liked to visit the library of Ralph Waldo Emerson. That ’ s where she started to like books. That ’ s probably what inspired her to write. She became a social reformer because of the little opportunities for women in her community. She grew up in a life of poverty

It was about a family in poverty that reaches several challenges (such as sick people in there family) Louisa Alcott became a lot more famous after she wrote this book. That is when her movement became popular Along with Elizebeth Stoddard, Rebecca Harding Davis, Anne, and Moncure Crane She made books about womans issue.
