Took over the Slavs and intermarried, created Kievan Rus

4. Kievan Rus This was the created state in Eastern Europe.
Started by the Vikings after taking over the Slavs.
Taken over by the Mongols
Will later develop into Russian 1169 CE

5. Mongols Invade China and take over Invade Russia and take over
Are nomadic, pastoral people from Mongolia
Mongolian geography caused Mongols to be nomadic
Caused much disorder in Europe along with the German invaders in Italy

BACK: 1c. Write what “team” they are with (Slave, Mongol, or Viking), 2c. two main points of what they accomplished over their “season”, I.E. life time. 3c. Which team they beat in the “play offs” and which team beat them, I.E. Slavs were beat by the Vikings.
