Collaboration, innovative thinking, risk taking, data- based decision making, and dedication are just a few of the many assets I can promise as a principal at your school. It has always been my philosophy to do whatever it takes for our students and our community.

4 Case load of 400 fifth and sixth grade students. Effective implementation of the school guidance and counseling program meeting identified needs. Provide professional development to teachers regarding the school developmental guidance curriculum. Collaborate with other schools and district staff to design testing and appraisal programs for students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to best support student needs. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, record. Compile budget and cost estimates based upon documented program needs. Demonstrate the use of appropriate and effective techniques for community and parent involvement. Develop and coordinate a continuing evaluation of the guidance and counseling program and implement changes based on data.

5 Began as an at risk teacher working with students in a small group setting, differentiating curriculum (ELAR and Social Studies). Provided emotional and social support to discouraged and unmotivated students. Attended PLC meetings regularly and coordinated with team to create lesson plans and exchange exciting ideas. Coordinated parent conferences and went on home visits for our special cases. Accepted a new position as a Pre-AP ELAR teacher. Obtained 30 hours of GT credit and attended a two day TGAT conference to learn about the needs of GT students.

6 Under supervision of Lead Counselor, maintained a case load of 200 eleventh grade students at risk of dropping out. Developed plans for a successful outcome and addressed the special needs of in need of modified schedule or instruction (i.e. night school, extra classes, summer school, online school). Provided counseling for students’ academic, career, personal, and social development. Coordinated and facilitated 504 meetings and signoff. Consulted with students’ parent(s) or guardian(s) and made referrals as appropriate. Assisted in standardized test administration. Administered career assessments. Helped with summer school registration.

7 Managed workers compensation claims, reviewed and managed certificates of insurance, automobile information, auto claims, and maintained databases. Dealt with troubleshoot issues, liaison with insurance providers for staff and students. Utilized Banner Production and Edgar Web/Apps on a daily basis. Provided clerical support to the Director of Risk Management.

8 Worked effectively with all faculty members, education center staff, and students. Prepared for and carried out college registrations for military personnel and military family members. Assisted in academic advising and career counseling to potential and current students. Produced detailed financial reports, data entry, proctor exams, textbook sales, and marketing of UMUC-Europe programs. Selected to manage office in Manama Bahrain (Middle East) for three months. As a result, student enrollment increased greatly.
