Experiencing The Power of the Holy Spirit?

Apostle’s Experience Pentecost

What is the “outpouring of the Holy Spirit?” or Baptism in the Spirit? Not Baptism! Not Confirmation! Not a Sacrament! It is cooperating with God’s power, which is manifest in you, so that you can be a more effective witness of God’s Love, shown to us through Jesus.

Authentically Catholic experience This experience of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, (and other spiritual realities) really do occur... It would be difficult to inhibit the working of the Spirit which manifested itself so abundantly in the early Church. We should be grateful to God for pouring out in our time those gifts and graces with which he blessed the Church at its very beginning. 1984 Pastoral Statement on the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Sec. 7

The Charismatic Gifts "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills." St Paul; in his 1 st letter to the Church in Corinth. 12:7-11

A message in tongues to the body is always to be interpreted and is limited to three within a gathering (1 Cor. 14:27).

The Charismatic Gifts (9) Interpretation of Tongues This is the supernatural interpretation of a message in tongues into the understandable language of the hearers.
