Criminal Justice: Criminal justice is the system of practices and institutions of governments directed at upholding social control, deterring and mitigating crime, or sanctioning those who violate laws with criminal penalties and rehabilitation efforts.

Says it is a state issue, but it differs in rural and urban areas. Voted for having background checks and closing loopholes on allowing private sellers to sell guns online.

10. Hillary Clinton on Criminal Justice. Says our criminal justice system is out of balance. She wants to end the “era of mass incarceration”. She has partial thoughts on the death penalty. Wants to end discrimination in the criminal justice system.

11. Ben Carson on Gun Control. He protects the second amendment. Says the second amendment protects us against tyranny. But believes that guns shouldn't be in the hands of the mentally ill.

12. Ben Carson on Criminal Justice. He is for giving police body cameras. He is for the death penalty, but he thinks it should be decided on state level. He is not willing to change anything in the criminal justice system.
