2. INSIGHT & CONCEPT During the pre- exam season, Big FM takes the opportunity to recreate the belief of goddess Saraswati being the goddess of knowledge and learning. To capture the vibe of school exams, BIG FM presents a simple spelling contest targeting kids and their parents. A simple format contest on air and on ground to be played in the evening show to test the spelling skills of the kids BIG gratification for the student winner on to culminate the show.

3. THE HOST- TISCA CHOPRA Versatile and well known Indian film and stage actress known for her works in Hindi cinema, and Television Connect with Kids and their parents alike, Known for her role in Taare Zameen Par Tisca in her friendly way will ask kids the questions everyday Meet & greet of the winners with Tisca

4. ON- AIR On each show we have 2 kids participating. Evening show 1 hour Cross promotion in Morning and mid morning shows. Registration promos, Evening show contest and daily evening show promos– 1 st Feb – 4 th Mar

5. BIG SPELLBEE - PART 2 After the grand success of Big Spell Bee from 1 st Feb – 12 th Feb there are many kids who are asking for an opportunity to contest with the winners of Part 1. If you think your kid has better spelling capability in comparison to our finalists then we welcome you once again to participate in BIG Spell bee. The registration lines are open so SMS and send it to 55454. New participants will ultimately play against 2 finale kids in 2 semifinals respectively. Leading 2 winners to Grand Finale on 4th March.

6. CONTEST FORMAT Prelims - We have the Preliminary rounds for first week, i.e. – 15 th -23 rd Feb. 2 kids every day. In total 16 kids, one winner per show. Only 8 kids will make it to the qualifiers which would be next stage of the competition. Qualifiers – The second stage will be a competition between our 8 kids, again 2 kids per show. To happen from 24 th Feb - 27 th Feb. After this we will be left with top 4 kids who will have to compete in the Quarter Finals. Quarter Finals – to be played on 29 th Feb & 1st March where out of 4 kids 2 winners will be chosen who will go on to play semifinals with the kids who made it to the top. (Here we are speaking about the 2 kids whose Grand Finale was delayed) Semi Finale – To be played on 2 nd & 3 rd March, 2 winner kids of this leg take on the kids of the previous leg respectively, ultimately fight out to the Grand Finale Grand Finale – To be played on 4 th March. we get our final BIG Spell bee champion kid here.

7. RULES FOR PRELIMS & QUALIFIERS This round will be conducted by Tisca,Here she will throw a word which needs to be spelled correctly.. The kid who buzzes first will get the first go. If the first kid misspells then the chance will be given to second kid plus he will also get a clue from Tisca. In this case a correct answer will give him entry to the qualifiers. Incase of a tie, we play tie breaker. Rules for Eliminator (11 th Feb ) Tisca would be asking the questions. 2 words individually to kids which they need to answer. 10 points for Each Correct spelling. The decision of elimination of one kid will be based on lowest score in total. Incase of a tie the kid who had taken maximum time to spell the words will be eliminated. Rules for the Grand finale (12 th Feb ) 3 spellings for each participant to be asked by Tisca. 10 point for every correct spelling. Ultimately the kid with maximum correct answer wins. Incase of a tie either we can consider the kid with lesser time taken to answer or we may go for a tie -breaker word.

Incase of a tie the kid who had taken maximum time to spell the words will be eliminated.
