ULTIMATE FRISBEE HPWB 7th & 8th
Modified Rules: The Field: Will be rectangular approx. 50 yards by 25 yards, with 2 end zones. Initiate Play: Each point begins with both teams lining up on the front of their end zone. The defense throws the Frisbee to the offense. Teams will be 5 vs. 5. Scoring: Each time the offense completes a pass into the defense’s end zone, the offense scores a point. Movement of the Frisbee: The Frisbee may be advanced in any direction by completing a pass to a teammate. Players may not run with the Frisbee. The player with the Frisbee has 6 seconds to throw the Frisbee, and must pivot on non-throwing foot (see video). The defender will count out loud to announce the 6 second rule. Change of Possession: When a pass is not completed (i.e. out of bounds, drop, block, interception, stalled), the defense takes possession and now becomes the offense to move to their end zone.
Continued: Substitutions: Players not in the game will rotate quickly in and out, from the sidelines, after every 4 plays or after every score. Non-contact: No physical contact is allowed between players. Only 1 defender allowed to block player that has Frisbee. A foul occurs when body contact is made. Fouls: Any intentional body contact. If the player disagrees with the foul call, it becomes a replay situation. Self-Officiating: Players are responsible for officiating their game. Spirit of the Game: Sportsmanship and fair play are most important. Have fun and be a good teammate! Stay tuned for additional rules!

Field Layout:
Captain and Co-Captain Responsibilities: Captain and Co-Captain ensures that all players are rotating in and out. Ensure all players are actively participating and will report those who are not to teacher. Keep score and players officiate your games. Tie Breaker will be “Rock-Paper-Scissors.” Leading team will move up 1 field to the west. Trailing team will remain on the same field. The idea is to maintain your position on the #1 field. See field diagram.
