Introduction The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing. in the period from about 1760 to 1820 and 1840.the industrial revolution was one of the biggest turning points in history. Children were offered good paying money and rooms to stay in. The Industrial Revolution took place in 18 th and 19 th centuries was a period during which rural societies in europe and america became industrial and urban.

 Lewis Hine, September 26,1878 Oshkosh, WI parents names. Douglas Hull Hine a veteran in the civil war and Sarah Hayes Hine an educator. Lewis grew up in child labor and had to work a lot to get anything. His first job was in a furniture factory. He worked 13 hours a day, 6 days a week and earned $4 per week.
