Roman medicine what medicine did the Romans use? What did their hospitals look like?

Medicine They used comfrey if they had a bruise. Romans hospitals were usually big but some were small.

Roman medicine Romans used anaesthetics like poppy juice and alcohol. Roman doctors used herbs as medicine. Roman doctors believed the body was made up of four humors which had to be kept in balance.

Medicine If you were poorly someone would pull your leg out or pull your tooth out. When you were poorly you would be looked after at home or go to the hospital.

Medicine The doctors had to work hard.

Doctors and medicine Rich Romans would go to the Greek doctors.
