Aging Issues in Utah A minority of individuals age 65+ use government services directed to aging individuals:  Senior Centers  Meals on Wheels  Aging Medicaid  Job Programs

Aging Issues in Utah  Food  Housing  Community and Family  Economic Development  Environment  Income  Work  Volunteerism  Healthcare  Recreational opportunities  Safety Most aging individuals in Utah need:

Why are we here? The Utah Legislature has asked the Commission on Aging to:  Study, evaluate, and report on the impact of the aging population on government services;  Identify and recommend implementation of specific policies, procedures, and programs to respond to the impact; and  Encourage state government to analyze, plan, and prepare for the impacts on services and operations.

Why are we here? Governor Huntsman invited the Commission to present the project to department directors and asked directors to appoint a designee
