God’s Church on Earth Delights in Worship St. Peter Worship Sunday, September 7 th

Welcome to St. Peter! Traditionally at St Peter, the Sunday after Labor Day is known as “Rally Sunday” as we rally around God’s Word (with numerous opportunities to study it) and our ministry (with numerous opportunities to serve and be involved). This year we’d like to use Rally Sunday to formally kick off the Worship Renewal emphasis at St Peter. Today’s hymns, Scripture readings and prayers encourage us, motivated by God’s great love for us in Jesus, to regularly come to God’s house to joyfully worship him along with all our brothers and sisters in Christ. May God grant us all the worship attitude of King David!

Welcome to St. Peter! There are friendship registers at the end of each row. Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. Thank you!

For Our Guests If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

Prayer before Worship O Lord – our Maker, Redeemer and Comforter – we are assembled in your presence to hear your holy Word. We pray that you would open our hearts by your Holy Spirit, that through the preaching of your Word we may repent of our sins, believe in Jesus, and grow day by day in grace and holiness. Hear us for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

Please be courteous and silence all pagers and cell phones. Thank you
