6. Prayer before Worship Dear God, we need so much help in being able to forgive others who have wronged us or with whom we have a grudge. Send Your Spirit to lead us to let go as we focus on the cross where Jesus let go of all our sins by dying for them. Bless us today, O Lord. Amen

8. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

12. Ladies’ Aid  All ladies of St. Peter church are welcome to attend  Thursday, October 13 th  1:30pm dessert & fellowship  Pastor’s devotion & Bible study.  Brief business meeting & prayer.

13. Hobby Night  October Over Night - Friday, October 21st from 6 pm - 6 am.  Back by popular demand... we will be doing a Nacho Bar pot luck.  Check the church entry Information Center for a sign up sheet for the potluck!

14. NEW MEMBER SUNDAY ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16 th, WE WISH TO FORMALLY WELCOME AND INTRODUCE OUR NEWEST BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST WHO HAVE JOINED OUR ST. PETER FAMILY IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS.
