Click the Question Creation Wizard to begin creating a question paper (QP) from the front end of the solution.

Types of Questions  While you can create various types of questions from the Question Creation Wizard, this tutorial will focus on the following types of questions.  Let us first look at Creating Multiple Choice Questions. Multiple Choice Questions Short Answer Questions Comprehensive Questions

MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS From the menu, select Question Creation Wizard>Multiple Choice Question Multiple choice questions have more than one option. Only of these options will be correct.

There are two levels of multiple choice questions, select Level 1.

Question Meta Information The Question Type is already pre-populated. You then need to select the Language and Subject from the drop down lists. There are 5 steps to create a level 1 multiple choice question. The first step is to provide the question meta information.

Question Meta Information Select the language of the question.

Question Meta Information Then choose the subject for which you are creating the question.

Question Meta Information After that, select the difficulty level you want to attribute to the question.

Question Meta Information Then assign marks to the question.

Question Meta Information After providing the meta information, click Step 2 to provide the question text.

There is where you input the actual question text.

The text editor tool bar allows you align and format the text.

Special Symbols In case of mathematical questions, you can insert special symbols.

Special Symbols You can add any of the prescribed special symbols. The symbol name appears on mouse over as well.

HTML Tags To add superscript or subscript text, you have the option to add html tags.

HTML Tags For example, to add x square in the text field, first type “x”.

HTML Tags Select the text and click the Html Tags button.

HTML Tags Select the html tag you want to add, in this case, superscript.

HTML Tags Accordingly, the superscript tag appears.

HTML Tags Then, add the 2 in between the html tag. Now this will appear as x raised to 2, in the QP.

HTML Tags You also have the option to add images in the QP.

The image library window appears. If images are uploaded, it will appear in the left hand column. You can also browse and upload images using the browse button. Select the image to be added, and then click the Add Image button.

Question Options Next, you need to add the answer options for the question.

Question Options After that, click the Add Option button to add the next option.

The options that you have specified will appear in the columns on the screen.
