Inquiry Project This project did not change my view on science fair projects however, it did provide me with the opportunity to teach a 2 nd grader the basic elements of how to complete a science fair project.

Reading Festival Workshop Reflection I participated in a reading workshop at Miner Elementary School in Washington, D.C. Here I attended seminars on how to involve parents in helping students with their homework and how to integrate reading and writing in your classroom. I also received information on how to implement a book of the month into your classroom. I had an opportunity to meet the principal at Miner Elementary School. Overall the experience was great and I was glad that I attended

Patuxent Field Trip Reflection WHAT DID YOU LEARN THAT COULD HELP YOU AS AN EDUCATOR? I learned how to research prior to attending a field trip and how to plan activities for the field. I learned how to coordinate with the field event planners on how to get activities to have my students actively engage in the field trip. LIST THE THINGS THAT YOU FELT NEEDED IMPROVEMENT The only thing I would have changed was planning the field trip earlier in the school year while it was still warm outside. It was very chilly riding through the woods. For a trip like that I would make sure my students come fully prepared for climate change through the woods.
