Animal photography This is a PowerPoint on animal photography. It will display the different variations of photography that you can use to take photos of animals with. Also it will show some of the different camera angles you can use to get them as the main object of the image. Lastly it will give photographers some tips and advice on how to take pictures of the pets or animals.

POSED PET POTRAIT  Action Shot- An action shot is a type of photography that is used to capture an object and displaying it in one image.  Tips:  Wildlife close to home- This type of shot is when an animal is in it’s natural habitat. You also catch them doing what they do naturally.  Tips:

Compositions and Angles  Close Up- A close up shot is mainly focused on the face of an animal it can also be take of the eye of an animal.  Birds eye view- A birds eye view eye shot is taken from high above looking down on an object/animal capturing the whole animal and it’s surroundings  Neutral view- A neutral view of an animal is taken at the animal’s eye level, as if taking he photo your were the same height as it.

Tips and Advice  1- Schedule your session- Schedule your session so you can get a shot of when your pet when it’s asleep or running around to get the desired shot.  2- Be patient- If your out taking photos of wild animals you have to be patient to get the right shot or even to wait for an animal to come along.  3- Experiment- Experiment different compositions/angles, use them on your pet, and then you can go out after you have practiced and use them on other animals.  4- Work the light- Use the light in the room to your advantage or if you are outdoors try and change the angle of your shot or move around to get the sun in the right spot.  5- ENJOY- Have fun taking animal photos
