Prepared by 1/1

 Find information in the internet about the different environments in which animals live. - Animals live in all kinds of environments ( in the deserts, the mountains, forests, jungles, seas, rivers, grassland,……………etc. 1 st group

 Collect photos of animals in their natural environments. 2 nd group

 Collect information about how animals have adapted to extreme environments. - Polar bears have thick fur to protect them from the freezing cold in the glaciers. - Lions live in open grasslands where they have open space to chase their prey. - Sand Cats hunt at night and sleep during the day. - Goats have strong legs to be able to run in the mountains. 3 rd group

 Discuss the importance of being adaptable and what happens when you can’t adapt. Adapt means to change to fit a new situation, need or purpose. Dinosaurs couldn’t adapt, look where that got them ! 4 th group

 Find out how humans have adapted to extreme environments. Humans learned to adapt for example : - In summer they go to coastal areas and wear light clothes. - In winter they wear heavy clothes. - In case of losing one of the senses they can overcome the situation and live a good life. 5 th group
