Regional Meeting – LACRO Lima 26, 27 and 28th March

 Reach common understanding about the Strategic Plan Review and the Business Plan  Commit to mutual accountability for results;  Ensure that UNFPA speaks with one voice

 Focus to achieve results  Country programmes at the centre  Strategic communication  Staff capacity and performance  Streamline management and operations  No silos, innovation rules, recognize results  Accountable and performing senior management

 Alignment of country programmes with strategic plan  Become a convenor for youth  Adapt global messages to country context  Develop a resource mobilization strategy targetting private sector and “new donors”  Share knowledge, staff and good practices with other COs  Integrate programme and operations teams and develop a good work environment  Recruit young people and manage talents well  Deal with underperforming staff  Give importance to building staff capacity

 Multidisciplinary teams to support COs  Multisectoral programme approach for youth  Access state of the art technical expertise  Document good practices  Facilitate exchange of staff between COs  Involve representatives in PRC  Develop skills enhancement modules  Establish recruitment entry points for national staff  Streamline planning, monitoring and reporting process  Share AOS with COs  Verify and evaluate information on CO performance, before passing judgement
