Presentation transcript:

ADR, Dubbing, and Foley

Work in pairs within each group Each pair will be doing 3 clips Each clip will be 15 seconds long Pairs within the same group cannot do the same thing for the Foley part

ADR This clip will be someone talking, with several short pauses You must record the dialogue separately and it must be clear (no environment sound) Perfect accuracy of sound and video matching up properly is what you are looking for

Dubbing This clip will be of someone singing The person being filmed should not look like they are trying to sing You can use clips of actual music

Foley You will pick a choice from the next slide No pair within in each group can d the same one Try to make the sounds big and full of life Timing of sounds is also very important

Foley Choices Walking and running Punching and kicking a wall Squeaky moving and slamming window Car revving up and down Crumbling a potato chip bag Turning pages and closing a book

Grading Each clip is worth 100 points They will be graded independently, so doing bad on one will only affect that one Each pair will be graded together, but away from the rest of their group
