YOUR BRAIN CAN HEAR WHAT YOU SAY! PRACTICE GROWTH MINDSET. I am not good at math.I am on the right track. I don’t understand. What am I missing? This is too hard. This may take some time and effort. I can’t make this any better. I’ll use some of the strategies I’ve learned. It’s good enough. Is this really my best work?

Use the BRAIN strategies.  Break down information into smaller parts.  Repeat and review to make new connections.  Actively take charge of learning.  Investigate further to enrich your understanding.  New ideas do connect to what you already know.

Doing math helps you to organize information. Don’t just look smart, get smarter. How does the new information fit with other things you already know? How does the old information help you to remember new information? Connect new and old information to continue to learn.
