Week 2 Vocabulary Words

Platform  A platform is a place where you can get on and off of a train.

Bustled  If a person bustled, they were noisy, busy, and in a hurry.

Tantrum  If someone is having a tantrum, they are having a fit, or bad temper, about something.

Furious  If you are furious, you are full of fierce anger.

Abstract  If something is abstract, it is hard to understand, or difficult.

Commencement  A commencement ceremony is the beginning or the starting ceremony.

Spellbound  If you are spellbound, you are fascinated, enchanted, or too interested to move.

Mercy  If you are showing mercy, you are showing more kindness than justice requires.

Retreated  If you retreated somewhere, you went back.

Passion  If you have a passion for something, you have a very strong liking for it.
