Summary of the book This story is about how Nia surprises Bobby on his birthday with the news that she is pregnant with his child. The original plan for Bobby and Nia was to put feather up for adoption but nia dies in child birth and feather starts to grow on Bobby, so he decides to keep her.

Theme of book The message of the book is to be careful when having sex, because not only could you get pregnant you could get stds

Characters Bobby- He is a 16 year old boy who gets his girlfriend pregnant. Nia- Has a daughter named Feather by Bobby and dies in child labor Feather- Daughter of Bobby and Nia, almost gave up for adoption.

Plot The plot of the story is Nia got pregnant and died in child birth, and Bobby ends up taking care of her.
