Then Face-off to see which contraption has the best combined accuracy, force and construction.

Lab Report: You will have to write a lab report with your elbow buddy. Both of you should have the same report in your notebook to be turned in on Friday. We are starting reports today!

Data Make sure to convert your answers into m/s. Make sure to calculate your average speed. Add all your speeds and divide by the number of speeds. (4 since there was 4 trials).

Step 7: Analysis Explain the data you collected in words. Similar to observation but now you are just talking about the data and not what was observed. First start talking about what you collected in the chart. Ex: The distance collected is the distance that the catapult launched the projectile.

Step 8: Conclusion The conclusion is a summary of your experiment from start to finish. Begin by explaining the purpose of the experiment. Answer these questions at the end of your conclusion: 1.What forces were acting on the catapult? 2.How many physics topics were covered in this experiment?
