Holiday Gratitude: For What and Whom are you Thankful for?

Attitude of Gratitude Gratitude What is Gratitude?  Feeling thankful  Grateful attitude  Appreciate the little things  Recognize positive things about life

Gratitude in Words Gratitude can be shown in simple ways. “Thank you” “I appreciate what you have done for me” “I couldn’t have done it without you!”, “You made that task so much easier” “You helped me understand.”

Gratitude in Action You can also show gratitude through your actions, what you DO: write a thank you note give the person a pat on the back or a hug do a kind deed in return – example? What other ways?

Gratitude Science Science tells us! Brings happiness Helps us sleep better Encourages us to “pay it forward” Can help us to feel better about friendships Showing appreciation improves mood
