Presentation transcript:

In this challenge we have to… (replace this with your class version from last lesson)  To continue with our group project challenge, to make a red book from ‘This is your life’ for one of the religious leaders. You are communicating, working with others, problem solving & using ICT…

To do well in football you need to play by the ‘Fair Play Rules’. These mean that: All members of the team consider each other. All members of the team play for each other (it’s a team effort!) People don’t foul each other. It’s the team that will do well (or not!) not individual members. The team plays to it’s strengths. All team members work hard for each other. What do the fair play rules mean for us during this project? Remember… In your ‘This is your life’ book you will need to include:  When & where the religious leader was born?  Where the religious leader lived?  What the religious leader did during their life?  People who were important to the religious leader  What the religious leader believed in & whether they were powerful?  Where & how the religious leader died?

What are your targets for today’s lesson?  Remember that you only have today’s lesson & next lesson to finish your book. Who is going to do what?  Try to work to people’s strengths & have different people doing different things at the same time, so that nobody is wasting time & everybody is working efficiently. What are your targets for today’s lesson? Who is going to do what in today’s lesson?

Discuss as a group…  What do you need to do for today’s homework?  What would be helpful to have done by next lesson?  Is there anything you could be getting on with at home?  Is there anything you need to bring in from home? Remember that next lesson is your last lesson on this project Decide on your homework as a group & write it in your planners. At the start of the lesson we said that our aims were…  To continue with our group project creating a ‘This is your life’ book for a religious leader. What can you now tell us about the religious leader that your group are researching? What skills have you been using as you have been working on your group project?
