Strategic Planning IN THE OSU DIVISION OF OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT, December 8, 2015

Purpose The plan itself should Foster common values Inform The way we do our outreach and engagement work (as opposed to what we do, topically). Decisions about new ideas or strategies Legislative package Spark innovation Honor / leverage past and present success

Additional details  Outline:  Mission (same as the 2009 Division Strategic Plan)  Vision (same as 2009)  Core Service offerings  Strategic Goals  Broad Strategies  Diversity, Equity & inclusion should be embedded in each strategic goal area within the broad strategies  Completion in June 2016  Goals will remain stable, but strategies should be flexible so that units can adjust or add to them throughout the 5 year implementation phase
