Leadership Opportunities at the Club Level Club leaders should... Encourage new members to join club committees and aspire to future leadership positions Delegate responsibilities and receive new ideas positively Train members to become new leaders Allow potential leaders to function as a complement to the experience of veteran leaders Large committees may use vice chairmen in order to train future chairmen Develop prospective leaders through mentoring.

Basic Responsibilities of Club Leaders Attend all club meetings Perform duties as designated by the President or Board Make reports as required Attend area meetings, district conferences and, if possible, biennial conventions.
