Poncho Shelters

No Pole Parachute Tepee Sketch This! This shelter is created with a rope and a few stakes. It can be used anywhere you find a good tree limb.

This shelter can be used to create shade in a very sunny environment. This is a hasty shelter constructed from a poncho, two “y” sticks and a bunch of sticks as spreader bars This shelter can be used to create shade in a very sunny environment.

Questions: Name 10 tools or items that you could use to construct a shelter. List each type of poncho shelter and name the environment that is best for that type of shelter. Devise another way to use a poncho shelter. Sketch and explain what you would do and what you would use. Label each item in your sketch.
