Autobiography

What is an Autobiography? An autobiography is the story of a person’s life, written or told by that person. It's written from the first person point of view. An autobiography is based entirely on the writer's experiences and memories. It might also draw on other primary resources related to the time period, but it is intended to be a factual accounting.

Autobiography example When I was twelve, I began volunteering at the local newspaper. I didn’t know it then, but my plan to avoid dance lessons by working at The Tribune two afternoons a week awakened in me a thirst for journalism. Now, twenty years later, though I’ve covered news stories in major cities all over the world, I still haven’t learned how to dance.
