Biography – Andy Warhol He lived in a large building in New York City – called “The Factory” It became a place for him to work, live, and a meeting place for famous people In 1968, a woman shot Andy 3 times! Luckily he survived but he never fully recovered from his injuries.

As an Artist… Andy Warhol was an American painter who became the famous for his POP ART style of painting. He took images from cartoons, advertising, food industries, and entertainment and changed them by repeating, enlarging or distorting them. He liked to paint things that are used everyday but no one ever thought about them
