About The Aztecs The Aztecs lived in Mexico ( ),at the same time the Tudors were living in England. The Aztecs were a powerful and warlike group of people. They spoke the Nuhuatl language and believed in many gods. Read on to explore many awesome facts about the Aztecs.

Warriors Jaguar warriors had shields made of bumpy turtle shells and bright feathers. They had long pointy spears like Eagle warriors. Eagle warriors are different to Jaguar warriors because the Eagle warriors had a different headdresses but they both scare the enemies away. Both warriors are as clever as each other.

Weapons Both warriors had wooden clubs with sharp stones in the side they also had spears.

Statues In Tenochtitlan they found a statue of an Eagle warrior and at the Temple there was also a Jaguar warrior outside the Temple.

Ceremony at the Temple Warriors had to go to the Temple and cut there hand with the wooden club with sharp stones and then you got a shield and a weapon.
