Early Life Events/Influences Harriet Oskar Born in 1820. Born April 28, 1908. Born in Dorchester County, Maryland. Born in Zwittau, Moravia, Austria-Hungary Neither had parents that were there for them. Was born into slavery. Was born into a wealthy business. Started working at the age of 6. Had troubles with school. Started working around the age of 12. Very independent.

Accomplishments/Beliefs/Finding Oskar Harriet Was one of the Righteous Among the Nations. This was awarded by Israel to non-Jews who saved Jews during the Holocaust Was a delegate to the National Association of Colored Women's first annual convention. Rescued a lot of innocent people. Has had many books written about her. Believed in equality of all people. Had a movie made about his story. Strong faith in god.

Affect on history/legacy Oskar Harriet Both left an impact on history because the people they saved, were able to live to tell their stories. She is a legacy for saving thousands of slaves. He is a legacy for saving thousands of Jews.
