What are consecutive integers? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 43, 44, 45, 46, 47 Consecutive integers are integers that follow one another. What would the next 3 consecutives integers be after 9? What would the next 3 consecutive integers be after -9?

So, what would the next 3 consecutive integers be after n? Check if this works out: Plug in n = 3 Does this work for negative integer? n = -3 Does this work for any integer? n, 1 st # n + 1, 2 nd # n + 2, 3 rd #

How do you write consecutive odd or even integers? What are ODD integers? 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, … What are EVEN integers? 2, 4, 6, 8, 10… What are adding to each integer to get to the next? adding 2 (+2)

Setting up Consecutive Integer Problems Consecutive Integers: Consecutive Odd Integers: Consecutive Even Integers: Example 2: Find three consecutive even integers whose sum is -42. Then check your answer.
