What are some ways you try to stay warm in the winter? Warm Up /science/energy-light-sound/heat.htm

Radiation Radiation is heat transfer through empty space. It travels in the form of light waves. Sunlight is a form of heat radiation. (1)

Radiation

Convection Movement of heat in liquids and gases. Warm air rises and cool air sinks. This flow of heat produces a convection current. (2)

Convection

Conduction Conduction is heat transfer by direct physical contact. Conduction can happen in solids, liquids and gases. Ex: An ice cube will melt in your hand (3)

Conduction Bread is touching The pan and burning.
