The activities: are organised around the domains and competencies of the framework are bite sized focus on learning in the work setting include different types of activities e.g. reflection shadowing discussion with colleagues, patients, clients or carers looking at policy, guidance or protocols examining current practice looking at evidence for practice

Educational Solutions for Workforce Development Developing the learning activities The workshops and positive stories from practice highlighted: the range and scope of work going on currently issues that are important to AHPs Drawing from this, volunteers sought to share their stories, projects, work and developments The volunteers stories are being used to: highlight issues relating to the competencies e.g. Patient choices, raising the profile of AHPs ensure that the learning activities focus on issues that are important in practice Some activities consider several competencies

Educational Solutions for Workforce Development Developing the learning activities: current situation working with the volunteers to agree the story content is accurate and reflects the situation working with the user group to review and refine the resources some of the material will be uploaded to the NES Senior AHP Website remaining material will become a ‘bank’ to draw from in future website coming soon!
