FIRST ASSIGNMENT Letter to Mr. Craft

Writing Guidelines I want to get to know you as the unique person that you are. In an effort to increase my ability to help you in this class please write a letter to me about yourself. Feel free to write the letter on the paper provided or you can use your own paper. If you would like to type your letter please hand write it first and then type it at home and bring it back tomorrow. You have the freedom to write me about anything you feel comfortable with.

Possible writing topics include: (Write on as many topics as you want): how you’ve done in your previous social studies classes your last year of school your family (good things or maybe not so good things) your interest and hobbies your future plans private things I should know about you in order to help me understand you better (your past, medical conditions, etc.) what you enjoy doing in class what you do not enjoy doing in class ANY OTHER TOPICS YOU WOULD LIKE TO WRITE ABOUT

Other Length Requirement: One page. It can be hand written OR typed (Double spaced) Due Date: (Something that is important) = Monday, August 20th Point Value of Letter: 10 points. (One page = 10 points, less length = fewer points)  (This is the first grade of the semester – Start off on the right track!)
