Norway comprises the western part of Scandinavia in Northern Europe.

Norway is now among the wealthiest countries in the world.

Large reserves of petroleum and natural gas were discovered in the 1960s.

Norway has obtained one of the highest standards of living in the world.

Population Norway’s population is 4.8 million.

It is one of the most peaceful countries in the world.

Norway is famous for fjords and mountains.

The Oslo Fjord

Norway is famous for Cape North and the aurora borealis as well.

Kongsberg is located in the southwest of Norway.

Kongsberg is a small town 80 km away from Oslo.

Its population is 23,000 inhabitants.

The temperature is very low in Kongsberg.

Kongsberg is known for its silver mines.

We visited the well-known Volvo Aero factory.

Volvo Aero develops and manufactures components for commercial and military aircraft engines.

They also manufacture missiles.

Kongsberg Secondary School

The secondary school provides each student with their own laptop.

This is the teacher’s lounge.

The teacher’s lounge is equipped with a kitchen.

There is a piano in the hall that they can play at their leisure.

Norwegian students bring their skis to class.

They can’t play football outside in the winter.
