BACKGROUND is a web tool for SMEswww.csrcompass.com CSR Compass was develop by Confederation of Danish Industries and The Danish Ministry of Business Affairs in out of 10 Danish companies recieved customer requirement on CSR

6 PHASES

Making a code of conduct

Supplier assessment Depending on the results of the risk assessment it is recommended that the supplier: sign the code of conduct perform a self-assessment get a visits from the customer (an audit)

Ongoing improvements and partnerships Ask the supplier to draw up an action plan Continually follow up on the action plan Ask the supplier to involve the workers Make the financial benefits clear Reward your suppliers Do not break off cooperation Assess your own conditions Share knowledge with your suppliers Consider offering financial support
