Physical Characteristics: Source #______16___ Description Coloring: Gray to grayish brown, yellow eyes, and white I brow mark. Size: This owl is 5 to 6 inches long. 1 to 1.4 ounces. Smallest owl in North America. Physical Characteristics: Has really big eyes. Catches with its feet. It eats lizards, mice , and bugs. Little feathers on its feet and its talons

Adaptations Source #_____24____ Physical Behavioral The elf owl has really big eyes that can see clear in the dark. There gizzard helps them sallow a hole body of its prey and dissolve it. There talons help them catch there prey. They only eat lizards, bugs, and voles. When there is not enough food the owl will fight over it. When the owl eats its prey it pukes out a pellet. The elf owl lives in dry lands in a saguaro cacti.
