Size: The Elf Owl is the smallest Owl in the World! It is 5 to 6 inches. It weighs 1-to1.4 oz. Wing spand is 4 inches. Physical Characteristics: A Elf Owl has big eyes , little feathers on talons and almost weighs 55 grams.

An Owl’s body is ideal for night living. they have the best night vision of any creature on earth. Their hearing is even remarkable! They hear up to 50 feet! Owls are very small animals. Owl’s neck can bend easly. Owls though up a thing called a pellet. A pellet is in a ball shape. Inside it is the animal that it ate, but the only thing it can eat is a vole, mole ,and a small bird.
