Create Your Classroom Wiki 1.Go to 2.Register for a new wiki account and space. 3.Choose a space name and set visibility 4.Click Create

Manage Your Space 1.Click Manage Space 2.Click List Pages to protect, lock, edit, delete pages 3.Click Look and Feel – to change the Space themes and colors 4.Members and Permissions – Invite or remove members. 5.Subscription –. Add Page Content with Editor Tools Bold, Italic, Underline, Text Color, Heading Style Insert Image, Widget, Table, Special Character, Insert Code Numbering, Bullets, Horizontal Line Insert Hyperlink Remove Hyperlink 1.Add content, preview and save/cancel 2.Must use keyboard to cut and paste content 3.Cancel to restore page if necessary 4.Pages can be locked to avoid page edits by wiki members

Add Files and Images 1.Click the Insert Images/Files Tool 2.Click Browse and Upload files 3.Insert or Link to file Double click the image or file 4.Insert External Images from urls

Add Widgets or Embed Code 1.Click Embed Widget Tool 2.Add code from sites to add interactive content to pages

Participate in Page Discussions 1.Click the Discussion Tab on any page to discuss content or topic. 2.All messages can be read by all members.

Add Pages 1.Click New Page 2.Name the Page and click Create 3.Manage Pages in Navigation and In Manage Space – List Pages

Create a Page for Each Student 1.Create a Page for Student Projects or Pages 2.Type each student name on the page 3.Highlight the name and choose hyperlink 4.A New Page with the selected student’s name will be created - Click OK

Create Space Navigation 1.Click Edit Navigation 2.Edit the site navigation just like a normal page 3.Insert text, highlight, select the hyperlink tool 4.Choose the hyperlink - wikispace pages, create new pages, or external urls.

Membership - Joining the Space 1.Students can join your space as a member. 2.Click Join this Space create an account 3.Grant or deny access to your space. 4.Students will need to let you know who they are in the wiki message. 5.Wikispaces will also create student accounts for you. Send a list of student names.
