Our Aim Help create a future-oriented, compelling and valuable member proposition by: 1.Establishing clear alignment of AWPS Mission with society goals 2.Providing a clear definition of AWPS governance structure 3.Focusing on fewer and most value-added programs 4.Creating a more efficient organizational structure with clear accountabilities 5.Optimizing limited staff resources 3

AWPS Value Proposition The Arthur Page Society is the preeminent organization that offers thought leadership, research and a community of peers to chief communications officers and those who counsel corporate executives. 6

AWPS Value Proposition Goals 1.Provide multiple opportunities for members to receive timely knowledge about current and emerging issues and trends that affect their role as decision makers within their organizations. 2.Engage with members, other professionals and organizations to strengthen the understanding and application of the Page principles. 3.Enhance the Society’s role as a thought leader by using all appropriate channels to explain to senior corporate leadership, corporate boards of directors, and other key stakeholders the strategic role of the chief corporate communications {public relations/public affairs} officer in helping the organization succeed, by operating in the public interest consistent with the Page Principles. 4.Encourage research consistent with the profession’s store of knowledge and providing practical applications to enhance and support the corporate communications function. 5.Ensure the future strength of the Page Society by involving current and future members, identifying and sponsoring diverse candidates for membership and ensuring their representation in the leadership of the organization, and helping develop tomorrow’s leaders in the profession by supporting the development of a pipeline of diverse talent to serve as future chief corporate communications {public relations/public affairs} officers. 6.Expand our global input, influence and membership to reflect and address the world in which we operate. 7
