Presentation transcript:

Science is the things that we learn about our world and everything in it by studying and practicing.

Astronomy is the study of stars, moons and planets like our world.

Biology is the study of LIFE and the changes that take place with and around all living things.

Chemistry is the study of Matter and the changes that take place with that matter. Matter is the name that scientists have given to everything that you can touch, or see, or feel, or smell.

Physics is the study of the effect of one thing on another. Example: 1.Why we move the way we do. 2.Why some things fall when we throw them. 3.Why some things are hooter than others.

For your science homework today, I want you to write in your notebook 3 things that we can learn in science.
