The Student Lighthouse Team Role By: Chase Carver, Luke Cummins, Luke Cummings, and Ava Love
How We Got into Student Lighthouse Two students were chosen from every class, except Kindergarten & 1st grade to interview for the position. It was a five step process: -Teacher Recommendation -Student Application -Parent permission/contract -Interview process -Letter of Acceptance (sent by postal mail) Students were interviewed by Mrs. Ground, Principal; Mrs. Hicks, Guidance Counselor; Mr. Kirtley, FRC Coordinator; and Mrs. Smith, Curriculum Coordinator. 12 students were picked out of 24 students. Students serve from 2014-2016 and will train the next group of Student Lighthouse Team Members.

What we should think about ourselves after the year is over. . . Our role to the Student Lighthouse Team means a lot. We were chosen to lead our school to success in many ways. At the end of the year we hope to look back and remember what we have accomplished.
