Developing classroom resources for maths and science Workshop 5: Creating a lesson integrating ICT

Refresh your memory Previous workshop Developed a resource Have you used the resource in class? Have you thought of making changes? Do you have new ideas?

Experience Experience teaches only the teachable. Aldous HuxleyAldous Huxley ( )  What is your experience of ICT-integrated lessons?  What lessons can we learn?

Activity 1: ICT lesson template Work on your own. 20 min Complete the ICT lesson template.  If you are not going to use ICT during the lesson, re-use and adapt the lesson plan form you created in Workshop 3. Sharing in pairs. 10 min  Share and give feedback. Evaluate in pairs. 10 min

Activity 4: Prepare lesson materials Work on your own but in close support (60 min) Prepare any materials that they may need to support the lesson.  Use the ideas that you have gained in the previous workshops.  Use any tools. Checklist:  It is clear what you expect your learners to do.  You have identified all the resources you need (ICT-resources, worksheets, models, equipment and tools for practical tasks, etc).  Layout and format each of the activities and include some graphics to make them more attractive to the learners.

Final Reflection What has been the most useful idea or skill that you have learnt? What are your plans for implementing these lesson materials?
