Hip Hop cd covers, always include the artist and shows their money/accessories. It can also include luxurious cars, etc. Pop cd covers, they mostly have bright eye catching colours, they sometimes include the artist in the cover, Rock cd covers, they mostly include a guitar in their cover, they use dark colours, they can also use a very unique fonts RnB cd covers, they sometimes use bright and dark colours, it has flashy fonts, the artist can be in the cover as well From the research I have gathered about all the different genres of cd covers. I’m very interested in looking into the Hip Hop genre. I was thinking of having a rapper in the middle of the cover but he is looking away not directly in the middle. So he will be turned about 45 degrees.

From researching different cd covers genres. I’m very interested in looking into the Hip Hop genre. I was thinking of having a rapper in the middle of the cover but he is looking away not directly in the middle. So he will be turned about 45 degrees. In this cover the artist is facing directly at the camera but his head is looking away. This is done so you can see the tattoo on the left side of his neck. The background is no too dark because then it will match the colour of his jacket and it won’t look good. The text uses primary colours which are not too dark or bright. The white text stands out more than the green one. The artist is not showing off his money, jewellery which is very common in hip hop cd covers. I like this cd cover because it’s simple and very effective. To have a very eye catchy cover you don’t really need to have jewellery, expensive cars etc.

In this cd cover, professor green is sitting down on leather chair with bottles of wine, whisky and beer on the table. The picture is quite dark except the bit where the line of light is coming through the curtains. This can give us an impression that he is hiding away and he’s in an apartment maybe. This scene looks a bit scary and maybe mysterious. In this shoot you can see lots of finished wine bottles and beers. Which can suggest he has been drinking a lot and he is stressed. He also has a serious face which can suggest that something bad has happened or he’s really going to concentrate on his music. He’s also not showing off his tattoo and he is dressed smartly which can suggest that he has matured over time. Professor Green looks vulnerable in this picture.
