DMAIC: Control Robert Setaputra

Objective Maintain the changes made in the X’s in order to sustain the improvements in the Y’s.

Control Phases Process Improvements  Access the results of the implementation.  Minor tweak if necessary. Stability, Capability, and Sustainability Calculate, Verify, and Documents the Improvements Metrics and Financial Benefits

Standardize Process Improvements in the X’s Who is involved at the revised step of the process? What should they be doing after standardization of the revised standard operating procedures? Why should they follow the revised standard operating procedures? Where should they be doing the revised process procedure? When should they be doing the revised process procedure

Standardize Process Improvements in the X’s (cont’d) How should they be doing the revised procedure? How much will it cost to do the revised procedure? Is additional training needed to perform the revised procedure? How often should the revised procedure be monitored? Who will monitor the revised procedure? Who will make decisions on future outputs of the revised procedure?
