Objectives I will learn about the relationship between circumference and diameter and how to express this relationship mathematically and graphically. I will show that I understand this relationship by finding the circumference and diameter of several objects, calculating the ratio of circumference/diameter for these objects, and then plotting the data to observe the trend of a line created by a circumference/diameter ratio.

Circumference The circumference of a circle is the distance around it. Mathematical formula: Circumference = 2*pi*Radius

Diameter The diameter of a circle is any straight line segment that passes through the center of the circle and whose endpoints lie on the circle. Mathematical formula: Diameter = 2*Radius
