Managerial Challenges The current greatest managerial challenge faced within the company is adequate communication of direction. –Some instances of confusion –Doubling efforts –Conflicting efforts Clear definition of expectations is not always present.

Managerial Challenges Us vs. Them mentality among the various departments. –“That’s not my job!” –“It’s not my fault!” –“We have to do their job for them…” CONFLICT!

Recommended Solution Strive to develop camaraderie and team identity. –“We’re all on the same team!” –“We win or we fail, together.” Utilize team building exercises across various departments. Provide incentives and/or praise for a job well done.

Be fervent in implementation of continuous improvement. –If not improving you are moving backwards. Recommended Solution
